AlieNETed Change – The Attack of the Blue Bird Twitter

frontpage-birdStarting today I will publish articles in a section which I will call “AlieNETed”. This section will have articles that will talk about how I think the internet has changed us as individuals and the things that we do. Well of course I know that most of these posts will be obvious enough for you guys but it is quite interesting to know how alien we are now, at least compared to our own societies say from a decade ago. At the end of each article I will put the AlieNETed change for the day. Let me start with this article ok?
I have recently signed up for a Twitter account just to promote my website. Well actually i have been hearing and seeing this little blue bird for quite a while now and I was never interested to know what it does. Twitter is like a simple web based diary that you can access. when you sign up, you can connect or ‘follow’ anyone whom you think is worthy enough to follow. Of course you will also be followed by people that you may or may not know at all. Now what? well twitter lets you publish about 160 long characters describing what you are currently doing. You may publish anything about you at the moment you are logged in to your account. Say for example you can put “eating a quarter-pounder at McDonald’s in Daly City”.
You may say who cares about what you do? Your followers! Does that make sense? Well that’s twitter for you. One big change that I see because of this is that you can stay attached and feel closer to your favorite Hollywood or local stars. Now it is quite easier to become a paparazzi at least in cyberworld. Who would have thought a decade ago that you will be able to follow Ashton Kutcher (did I spell it right?) and know everything that he does in life? Well that’s it, just a small summary of the first article in this section.

AlieNETed change: Because of the internet and Twitter you can now follow your favorite actors and actresses and know what they are doing. No more old style paparazzi please. You might kill another Princess.
