Twitter is Useless for SEO
I always see articles in some blogsites saying that Twitter can really help you when it comes to increasing page views and traffic. I do have a Twitter account but sometimes it makes me wonder what this blue bird twitter site can actually do to newbies when it comes to SEO.
1. It is a micro blogging site. Therefore you are constrained to put whatever you want to say in 140 characters. Even less than texting. So right there Twitter is useless for SEO.
2. Simply pasting your article link will chomp up huge character counts.
3. A huge base of followers actually do not care about what you say.
4. Nobody cares about your posts unless they are your real friends.
5. 99.99% of your followers will simply promote their own sites.
6. There are spammers.
7. I put “worthy” and engaging posts but nobody seems to respond (poor me).
8. Twitter is useless for SEO because followers only follow you because you follow them.
9. You can’t even put any Ads in your posts 
Now tell me how can you benefit from Twitter? In my previous post about Ashton Twitter rank, I mentioned that he has more than 3 million followers. But if he happens to be a blogger like us, what use can he make out of those 3 million souls? I don’t think any make money at home schemes will ever be able to utilize Twitter to its full potential. It just won’t work. Twitter is useless for SEO. If you have a more positive experience, please share it to me.
it useless if it doesn’t work the way you want, but for me it help me alot in gain friends, connection and also tutorial. most of design tips i get from twitter. Maybe to bringing traffic it need hard work.. but i do heard some people they actually gain 4000-5000 visitor per month using twitter. that big enough for me..

Before, I understood that Twitter, as a microblog is just like a blog, but shorter and concise. Now, there are many are just promoting their blogs and products and all. It degrades the true concept of Tweeting. Me, I don’t normally open links from a blog there. Yeah, who cares? Hehee!Reply

Yes I have not clicked any of their link on Twitter. They are simply promoting something. However I also put some of my URLs in my twitter but not in an advertising tactic, for example “Hi friends, I just posted an article about Nokia, it’s about 5800 http://www.riantalks.com“. In this way I am presenting as a real person not as a spammer wo wills imply put “check this…” or “hey take a look…”

I’ll give you some trick so that you can gain traffic from twitter.. this is a secret ok…
First you need gain more subscriber or follower in your twitter account then if you tired clicking the “Follow” button !! all you need to do is something like this one,
” To all who need #donation from #paypal click this … http://game-previews.com ”
did you notice the pound sign? that is the other way of making new follower to your twitter account and more probably they will click you url as well.
