Canine Distemper – Dog Distemper Symptoms
I am really sad tonight for I have found out that our dog has canine distemper according to our veterinarian. Dog distemper is a very common disease among dogs that are domesticated. However, there is also feline distemper and other ones affecting wild animals. Canine distemper is caused by a deadly virus with single RNA strand. What are the symptoms of dog distemper?
- Watery eyes
- Seemingly Crossed eyes
- Loss of hearing in dogs
- Weakness in dog movement
- No appetite or no interest in foods
- Dog vomiting yellow substance
Our past dogs also had similar symptoms and did not survive even after dog vaccination from our veterinarian. Maybe the distemper virus is lurking around our backyard waiting for a chance to attack. I am worried for the health of my pet since the animal diseases seems fatal and incurable.
